Neighborhood Alert - Destructive Youth Activity (Posted April 30, 2008)
Recently there have been several instances of destructive behavior in our community.
Several mailboxes have been damaged and/or destroyed by being hit. Property has been egged and shot
with paint balls. This past weekend, a large group of approximately 30 adolescents went to the ball
field/playground at 11:00 pm on Saturday evening and spray painted the equipment with graffiti. The
Arapahoe County Sheriff's Department was contacted and responded that evening to the complaint. The
county has scheduled to come out and clean up the graffiti in the very near future.
Please do your part to keep an eye out for destructive youth activity
in our community, particularly on weekend evenings. If you see any suspicious activity or notice
graffiti anywhere in the community, the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Department encourages you to
contact them at: (303) 795-4711 to file a report. Please click here
to read graffiti crime prevention tips published by the Sheriff's Office.
