Roof/Shingle Replacement (Posted 08/12/2009)
If you are replacing your roof, shingles should be replaced with like/similar color, 30 year quality,
dimensional, asphalt shingles. No approval will be required if the "like in-kind" procedures are followed. The current 2009 approved roof color
(as per the Board of Directors) is called “weathered wood” which is a dark gray in color. Cement, tile or "white"
roofs are not permitted in keeping with the architectural continuity with the community. If the homeowner desires to change original
color of the existing roof and/or style of shingles, then an ARC submittal is required for approval prior to commencing work. The homeowner
is responsible for obtaining any required permits from the City of Centennial or Arapahoe County.
